These organotitanium compounds can react with functional groups—such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, or amine groups—on polymeric backbones like polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), epoxy resins, polyurethane dispersions (PUD), and acrylic emulsions. Open time refers to the period available for repositioning or adjustment after application, while green strength defines the bond's holding capability before full cure. The Unilink® catalyst series complements Tyzor® in polyurethane-based adhesives, where curing kinetics and hardness development must be finely controlled.
